Fall

Fall is arriving. Time for lots of chores. Stewie helped me harvest the garden last weekend. He picked a few squash, some green tomatoes... there was a handful of red ones... not our most successful summer, thanks to constant rain and very little sun. Gardening in VT is tough! He did have fun going for wagon rides; however, he was not too pleased that the squash had to ride with him. And he did like his little pumpkin.

Also, we went for a river hike the other weekend. You have to hike through a hay field before you get to the woods. Its a breathtaking hike. Amazingly, once we got to the river, Stewie wanted to strip down and get in! Our toes turned to icicles chasing him through the water, but he was loving it. The leaves are starting to turn here. We'll have to get some pics.
