Spring has sprung

First, the Sleep Wars update: Stewart is now falling asleep independently, sleeping almost through the night, but still waking up way too early, sometimes around 5AM. Week two I would have to make sure he was asleep before I could leave his room. He would wake up once or twice and cry a bit and we'd have to tuck him back in. Last week things were much better.

In other updates... Nani came to visit Stew and they had a grand time together. Stewart is quickly becoming a grand chef like his father, and helped out making home-made ravioli.

Miss Eliza is quickly growing to fit her home. This means I have one heck of a shelf, and her little hiney is frequently popping out my ribs... which also means her feet are too. She's pretty squirmy! She's been getting the hiccups a lot too. My pelvis is hurting a lot again. I can feel my hips spreading and they're popping a lot, along with my lower back. About five more weeks. Man do my toes look like sausages at the end of the day, especially on a hot day like yesterday...

... yes, hot. The weather in Northern Vermont yesterday was 82 degrees!?! Crazy. What a great Easter weekend. We soaked in the sun, had an egg hunt, dyed eggs (Stewie keept wanting to drink the dye, uh-oh!), played horseshoes. Too much fun! Stewart hung out with his 11 month old friends too, and he was so sweet! He gave them hugs and gave them their sippy cups. He only pushed them over once! Having a spring baby is going to be wonderful... the world coming to life at once.
