Catching Up... as Summer Comes to an End

We took a short trip to Montreal.
Stewie mostly enjoyed looking at all the boats in the ports, the cars and trucks, and having an urban experience.
He thought the roof top pool was pretty cool too.

We also had visits from friends. Kieran ADORES Eliza. Eliza adores her.
She snuggled up in her arms, sucked her thumb and twirled her hair.

Pratt camp was a blast.
Stewie loved hanging out with the big kids, little kids, and old kids (that's you, Nani ;) .

Eliza enjoyed getting lovin' from everybody.

Earlier in the month there was a local music festival we went to with friends. The kids had a blast getting their faces painted, eating free Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and running around in general.

As the nights get colder, I'm realizing summer is quickly coming to an end. Stewie's friends have all gone back to school, or are about to. We've talked about school, and he wants to go. He may be able to do two days for three hours a day of pre-pre school second semester. But we have been living it up these last few weeks! Eliza, well, everywhere she goes she turns heads. She is about the sweetest, happiest, cutest, cooing little girl ever. I think I could easily say this was one of the greatest summers of my life.
